So it’s been just over a year since we relocated to the Isle of Mull and opened Drimnin View, although we’ve been told that the weather has been particularly changeable this last 12 months we’ve had a lot of fun and experiences living on an island.

We’ve managed to refurbish the guest rooms, replace the en-suites, carpets, flooring and added some heating!

Signalling the approaching close of the season is the hugely popular Isle of Mull rally – it’s 50th year! The action or the rain didn’t disappoint.

Now the Isle has a sense of wilderness returning, the colours of autumn, deep returning from the high ground and the owls providing a soundtrack for the evenings.

The views are amazing, I’ve had a wonderful time, but i need to come back because there’s so much more to see and explore.

We continue to enhance the warm welcome and available facilities at Drimnin View. This time of year the fires stoked, mist rolls in from across the mainland providing nature TV, just recently we were surprised by an eagle launching itself into the air as we past by!
